what are the pros and cons of insourcing and outsourcing?

specifically, outsourcing vs. insourcing advertising photography services
when u start out you insource, then as money start coming in from profits you outsource. Outsourcing gives you more time
to concentrate on growing your business, but you pay more.
Insourcing saves money, but you work more. And might end up earning less because you are doing shores left and right.
So i say outsourcing is the way to go. It is what i do anyways and it works like a charm.
