If you have been tasked by your boss to complete a software development project that you know you are not confident handling and your promotion is due next week, what can you do? Outsource your software development project! If you have thought of this, then it is the most brilliant choice ever. Outsourcing software development is not an unfamiliar term in the industry anymore. You know you want the best end result and you know there is someone out there who can complete the task better, faster and cheaper. So, what is stopping you?
Here are some common benefits you can find:
Whether you have a high or low budget for your project, it is always wise to spend the least to get the most. By achieving this, you are able to get more return on investment and your boss will be happy with the profit that the company is getting. When you outsource your software development project, you do not have to worry about giving your own workers overtime pay, worry about their welfare and worrying that they are not able to perform the task up to expectation. If the budget is the main concern for your company at the moment, then this factor should be the key factor to deciding whether outsourcing is a good idea.
One other advantage of outsourcing software development is the efficiency and productivity of the team. Putting the reduction in cost aside, this also makes an attractive bargain to start outsourcing your work. Increase in productivity simply means having the ability to meet more order requirements and thus earning more money along the way. The good old English phrase, Time Is Money, truly has its stand here.
Manpower saving is also an important consideration when you want to outsource software development. For your company brand to grow healthily, try to secure small and score for smaller projects, gather more credentials and bigger companies will find their way to you. Therefore, there is a need to save your available manpower for other aspects and leave your software development jobs to the talented freelancers in the developing countries.
Your decision to outsource software development is really recommendable in the current information technology industry because it enables the company to work with highly qualified individuals when necessary without having to retain these individuals as salaried staff members. This is because many companies do not want to bear the burden of keeping these individuals on staff when they can outsource the work to them on a per contract basis.

Both face many of the same challenges in terms of language, loss of product control, etc.
Interesting…. I’ve never heard of transnationalism and decided to wiki it. Sorry I don’t have an answer for you though.

I’m doing some research for a class and need to find examples of how some companies have successfully/failures with overseas outsourcing. I can’t seem to have any luck in finding it. Like where or what specific websites or magazine can I research to find that kind of information.
You can find info from the following links:

I am looking to start up a payroll outsourcing company (a provider of payroll services to other businesses), and want to know what software to use.
It would need to be a robust system designed for accounts or payroll service providers.
Hi, I work for Execupay Payroll. We have the highest technology in the industry and have made our own software which is now the industry standard. We have licensed our software to over 130 locations across the US. Please let me know if this is something you are interested in.

Just asking, I don’t know…people here say he wants to keep taxes low for companies that employ people…but what about those that move plants, factories to other countries? How does that help blue-collar American workers?
Yes, of course..

American’s need our jobs!!!! WTF?
When I call a company, and I can’t understand the customer service rep’s "English" I hang up and keep calling until I do get someone I can understand…..It’s very very frustrating!!! and very poor customer service.
Because they "think" it is cheaper. BUT…they are finding out that once they form companies in other countries that the workers are forming unions and demanding higher wages and the same rights and standards that American workers wanted all along.
They moved thinking they didn’t have to pay for insurance and wouldn’t have to pay raises. They thought they could get away with paying taxes on American soil.
They can put out inferior products and we would still buy them.
And it is so true…
there are millions of Americans who do need jobs.
I always try to buy American. I’ve always bought only Volvo’s but bought a Cadillac recently just so I could buy "American:". If I have to pay more to support my country I will. Go American!!! I’m a US Veteran and I love my Country!!!

and do you believe these people are as compitent?
Hardworking and smart people gets job. I don’t mean that Asians are smarter then other people but they sure know how to work 10 – 15 hours a day without wining or crying like we Americans.
So they deserve it.
