Can you please mention the Pros and Cons of outsourcing?
When I say American Jobs I mean manufacturing and jobs that can be outsourced to India, China and/or other Asian countries. Can you answer these questions also?
What is outsourcing?
Is outsourcing good or bad for the economy?
Who is in favor of outsourcing? Why?
Who does not like outsourcing? Why?
What are the pros and cons of outsourcing?
What is outsourcing?
Taking aspects of a business and having another company fulfill it. It doesn’t always mean its off shore.
Is outsourcing good or bad for the economy?
Generally speaking it is good because "work" is being done by those who can do it most efficiently in a financial sense.
Who is in favor of outsourcing? Why?
Any business that can gain efficienies through doing so. Why, generally a company will outsource work to a company who can do it better, cheaper and faster.
Who does not like outsourcing? Why?
Any one who loses their job as a result. Goverments that lose tax rolls from their population. Organized labor.

Check this website to see the list of all the companies that are involved in outsourcing jobs to India
Do you think it is damaging to our economy?
What it’s damaging to is my ability to get even halfway decent customer service when I call any company for help.
Just last week, I had to call for help setting up a wireless router.
"Hello. My name is Taylor."
Bullsh*t. Your name is Tayloramakrishna and I can’t udnerstand a word you’re saying. Can you please transfer me to an English speaking analyst?
I know exporting jobs to India saves companies money, which makes sense when you consider that with the demise of quality customer service in this country they’re beholden only to their stockholders, not to their customers.
Me, I’d have paid an extra buck for the router if I knew I’d be able to get help from someone who speaks my language.

BPO means Business Process Outsourcing, wherein big Companies are transferring part or all their Finance, Accounting, IT, Customer Services and other stuff to other countries in order to save.
I would say Philippines as they’re devoted to work and work very hard and I’m told from my cousins there are alot of students that study for the industry now. So you’ll get devoted, qualified workers who work at lower wages. Anyway i think Philippines deserve a boost to their economy.
I think many would say Malaysia because they’re more diverse culturally, developed, established, skilled but i think India will lost money because of these reasons.

Business Process Outsourcing is an emerging industry in Africa. This film looks at the various issues and opportunities facing the BPO sector in Kenya from the perspectives of one of Kenya’s BPO CEO and three young women entrepreneurs who created a BPO start-up. A pressing challenge affecting the competitiveness of Africa’s BPO companies is the cost of high speed connectivity.
The World Bank’s US$424 million Regional Communications Infrastructure Program (RCIP) aims to address this issue by extending access to affordable high speed connectivity to as many as 25 countries in Eastern and Southern Africa.

Can you please answer these questions too ?
-Who is in favor of outsourcing? Why?
-What are the pros and cons of outsourcing?
i am strongly against it. it sends many well paying manufacturing jobs overseas, and although it may make costs cheaper for companies the savings most of the time is not passed on to the consumer. with all these manufacturing jobs being sent away, are all these displaced workers just supposed to find jobs in the service and retail sector? last time i checked its hard to make a decent living running a cash register. Not to mention the increased fuel consumption used shipping these foreign made goods across the ocean and loading it on to trucks to send back across the country.
